An arson charge has been filed against a 38 year old city man after Monday’s fire at Midas on Main Street East.
North Bay Police and city fire crews responded to reports of smoke coming from the boarded up building.
Fire officials deemed the fire suspicious.
Police say a person entered the building around 2 pm Monday and allegedly started a fire.
An arrest was made at 5 pm the same day.
The man, who remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing, is also charged with break and enter and drug possession.
