Health Unit reports nine new cases of COVID-19

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting nine new cases of COVID-19.

All of the new cases are in the Nipissing District.

Two people are hospitalized, one in each Nipissing and Parry Sound.

11 cases were deemed resolved, all in Parry Sound.

There are currently 39 active cases in the Health Unit’s jurisdiction.

The Health Unit vaccinated over 1,000 people in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of individuals with one dose to 53,955.
