Sports fields and some other outdoor amenities are opening in North Bay.
This after the province announced certain recreational activities will be allowed as of tomorrow (Saturday).
The list locally includes:
- Sports fields (casual play only)
- Tennis/pickleball/volleyball courts (casual play only)
- Skate park
- Waterfront Marina
- Public washrooms (Marina, Lee Park, Marathon Beach, Champlain Park, Sunset Park)
Gatherings of up to five people from different households are also allowed outdoors with physical distancing from those you don’t live with still required.
The city says playgrounds, parks, green space, trails and pathways remain open, as well as boat launches and beaches.
