Increasing mental health services is a priority for the Green Party candidate running in Nipissing-Timiskaming.
Nicole Peltier says the riding needs a safe injection site, and community hubs that offer a range of services for people at risk. Peltier says there are several schools abandoned in the area, and they could be turned into multi-service locations for people struggling with mental health and addiction issues.
Peltier is running against Liberal candidate Anthony Rota, NDP candidate Kathleen Jodouin, and Conservative candidate Jay Aspin.
