A missing person investigation is ongoing on Lake Nipissing, in the Lavigne area of West Nipissing.
Nipissing West OPP responded to a vessel in the lake with no operator just after 1:30 pm today.
OPP Emergency Response Team members and the Sudbury OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Unit also responded.
Provincial Police advise the public there will be a strong police presence during the search on the water and along the shorelines.
