You’ll be able to take an Air Canada flight between North Bay and Toronto again in a month from now.
The flights are scheduled to return June 28th.
Spokesperson Peter Fitzpatrick confirms they plan to start with service three times a week.
That will increase to daily service on July 12th with plans for twice-daily flights beginning August 1st.
“This is reflective of our belief that with the pandemic receding there will be an increase in demand for travel,” Fitzpatrick writes in an email statement to MyNorthBayNow.com. “However, given the unpredictability of the pandemic, we will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments accordingly.”
Air Canada temporarily suspended service to and from North Bay and Toronto in March 2020, then indefinitely suspended the service a few months later.
