Capitol Centre heading to the roof to stream concerts

The rooftop of the Capitol Centre is becoming the new outdoor stage for a series of streamed concerts.

“Ontario has entered Step one of its reopening plan. The Capitol Centre, along with hundreds of other arts and music venues, remains prohibited from streaming from our own stage. Even with no audience,” says Dan Misturada, Interim Executive Director.  “Since we can’t be inside, we are heading outside, to the roof.”

The Rooftop Series features:

Terra Lightfoot, Canadian rock musician and powerhouse vocal artist Thursday, June 17 @ 8:30 pm

Carl Dixon, Canadian Rock Legend formerly of The Guess Who, April Wine and Coney Hatch Saturday, June 19 @ 8:30 pm

Andrew Hyatt, CMAO award-winning country singer Tuesday, June 22 @ 8:30 pm

Danny Michel, award-winning rock/pop/folk musician Thursday, June 24 @ 8:30 pm

Tickets to watch the live streams online are $15 each and are available (starting at 5 pm) at CapitolCentre.org
