CUPE workers in the North Bay area are demanding better care for patients at nursing homes across the province.
They are holding a rally outside of Cassellholme Home for the Aged this afternoon. The union wants the Ontario government to make four hours of daily hands on care for nursing home residents a law.
The rally is planned to take place at the same time as a Cassellholme board meeting. It starts at 3:30pm at the front entrance of the building.
