CUPE is calling on the North Bay community to take action against the latest round of cuts at the hospital.
Around 150 full time staff and 30 beds are being slashed at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. The union will be contacting everyone with a landline in North Bay to participate in an electronic conference call tonight. They want to discuss how the community can help secure more provincial funding for the hospital.
