(UPDATE) Police asking for help locating missing woman

UPDATE: The woman has been found. The North Bay Police Service is thanking the media, the public, BAYSAR and the Ontario Provincial Police for their assistance in locating her. The NBPS says no further information will be provided.

The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) has issued an “urgent” appeal for information about what they are calling a “vulnerable adult female missing in North Bay”.

77 year old Madelaine Brazeau was last seen at the North Bay bus terminal on Station Road at 4 pm Saturday.

Police released an updated description: 5’5” tall, with an average build, approximately 130-140 lbs, grey short curly hair, and was wearing a large straw hat and a pink coat.

The NBPS says they have had credible sightings in the area of Highway 17 East near what is unofficially known as Tower Road between 3:45 and 4:30 pm Saturday afternoon.

Police are requesting witnesses in that area during the applicable time frames or any dash-cam video footage to contact them.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the North Bay Police Service.
