Services are expected to open again this Sunday at Faith Chapel Christian Centre.
That from Pastor Maurice MacMillan after the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit declared the COVID-19 outbreak over at the centre on Thursday.
MacMillian is thanking members of Faith Chapel for being proactive with early testing and self-isolation.
“The decision to suspend in-person services immediately by our board of directors was also instrumental in stopping any further transmission. We would also thank the health unit for coming alongside to assist in our contact tracing follow-up,” he says in a statement.
With the resumption of services MacMillan says they will continue to ensure all guidelines and protocols will be followed.
