The City of North Bay advises work to install tactile indicators at a couple of signalized intersections on McKeown Avenue is taking place Thursday and Friday.
The intersections include McKeown Avenue at Champlain Street and at the A&W entrance to the McKeown Commons plaza.
Officials say tactile indicator tiles provide a distinctive surface pattern that alerts visually impaired pedestrians as they near a street crossing.
Lane closures will be in effect during construction, although all traffic will be able to move through the work zone.
