Police have laid impaired charges after a car crash in North Bay.
Police say a man was driving westbound on Highway 17 East, when he turned right onto O’Brien Street, and hit a telephone poll. It happened late Friday night. Police responded to the crash and arrested the driver. A 36-year-old Callandar man has been charged with impaired and possession of marijuana.
Police are also looking for information after a pick-up truck was found on fire in North Bay. The truck was found by an officer early yesterday morning parked on Norwood Avenue.
Police were able to put the fire out. The truck was a 2011 blue Chevrolet Colorado pickup.
