City man charged after business break-in

A 37-year-old city man is facing charges after police responded to a break-in to a Memorial Drive business.

The North Bay Police Service responded to a 911 call Sunday morning and say one building in the 200 block of Memorial Drive was broken into while an attempt to gain entry to another was also made.

Police seized tools alleged to have been used to break windows and a small amount of suspected crystal meth.

The man is charged with:
– Two Counts of Mischief Under $5000;
– One Count of Break and Enter with Intent;
– One Count of Break, Enter and Commit Theft;
– One Count of Possession of Break-In Instruments; and
– One Count of Possession of a Substance.

The accused remains in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse on July 26th, 2021.
