Two West Nipissing residents facing drug charges

Nipissing West OPP report over $46,000 worth of drugs are off the street.

This after a search of a residence on Demers Street in Sturgeon Falls on Monday.

Suspected fentanyl, percocet pills, crystal meth, methamphetamine tablets and cocaine were seized, along with drug paraphernalia, cash, a safe and cellphones.

Two West Nipissing residents, ages 25 and 35, are facing several drug possession for the purpose of trafficking charges.

Both were being held pending court appearances in North Bay on Tuesday.

Members from the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) and the Community Street Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), executed the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant.
