Six people are facing drug charges after police executed a search warrant at a home in the 1100 block of Fisher Street in North Bay. On Tuesday evening, police along with OPP members executed the search warrant – police say all six accused were in the residence and were arrested during the search.
Police say that items seized during the search included:
- 62.8 grams of suspected cocaine,
- 40 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine,
- 59 suspected methamphetamine pills
- $2,855 in Canadian currency
- Two digital scales
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $9,932.
A 42-year-old of Smiths Falls is charged with;
- Two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
- One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime
- One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and
- One count of Breach of Probation.
A 58-year-old of North Bay is charged with;
- Two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
- One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime, and
- One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance
A 39-year-old of North Bay is charged with;
- Two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
- One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime, and
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
A 72-year-old of North Bay is charged with;
- Two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
- One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime, and
- One count of Breach of Probation.
A 38-year-old of Brockville is charged with;
- Two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
- One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime, and
- One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance
A 40-year-old of North Bay is charged with;
- Two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime
All six individuals were released from police custody and will appear at the North Bay Courthouse on September 7th.
