Local blues musicians are being invited to register for the Bluesfest Open Mic Night event at the Capitol Centre.
Registration starts at noon Monday, August 23rd.
Limited spots are available for the Bluesfest 2021 kickoff event.
Registration can be done by phoning the Capitol Centre at 705-474-4747.
The event is being held in the WKP Kennedy Gallery on Thursday, September 2nd.
Solo and duo acts are being accepted and musicians will perform two songs during their set.
Musicians will be playing against a backdrop of local art-themed for the ‘6 String Lover’ song by Jack de Keyzer.
Tickets are free for spectators, but must be secured through the Capitol Centre Box Office, either online at capitolcentre.org or in-person at 150 Main Street East.
