Troops announce home game guidelines for upcoming season

With the players on the ice gearing up for the new OHL season, the North Bay Battalion has announced its regular season ticket guidelines.

The team says spectator capacity at Memorial Gardens is 1,000 with all fans required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.

The Ontario Hockey League is expected to provide more information on the procedure at a later date.

Entry to Memorial Gardens is limited to Gate 2 (northwest corner of building off Chippewa St.) and Gate 6 (south end of the arena).

Masks must be worn but can be removed once seated, and fans must maintain physical distancing.

The team says it’s expected the East side of Memorial Gardens will be closed to the public at all times, but that is subject to change.

Season tickets will be distributed as follows to a maximum of 1,000:

  1. Player, billet and related organization requirements
  2. Suite holders
  3. Advertiser and sponsor season tickets
  4. Balance based on season ticket seniority

The team says no outside food or beverage will be permitted in 2021-22 during licensed events at Memorial Gardens.

Battalion training camp is underway this week with green and white intrasquad games Tuesday through Thursday.

The Troops open the regular season Thursday, October 7th, at 7 pm at home to the Peterborough Petes.
