North Bay council wants to hear from local residents

A virtual town hall meeting is being hosted by North Bay city council on Monday evening.

The session starts at 5:30 pm and gives local residents the opportunity to present to council on any issue that falls within the jurisdiction of the municipality.

The city says that includes the upcoming 2022 budget process.

Presentations will be made electronically and those interested will need to register with the clerk.

That can be done by emailing [email protected] and providing a brief outline of the presentation by noon on Monday, Sept. 13.

Presentations can be up to three minutes long.

Written submissions can also be submitted to the Clerk, which will be circulated to Council.

The town hall is taking place on Zoom and is being broadcast live on the city’s website and their YouTube channel.
