The Nipissing University Student Union is speaking out after full time faculty decided to take strike action.
The union says there is a lot of uncertainty on campus after classes were cancelled. Many graduating students are concerned extending the academic year could impact employment opportunities. Others are worried for financial reasons, because most leases are up on April 30th.
The union is calling on both sides to return to the bargaining table as quickly as possible. The full time faculty walked off the job on Monday over wages and job security.
