The North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce’s old stomping grounds are being put up for sale.
With the chamber moving downtown, the city has decided to rezone the land on Seymour Street and tender it out for new development. It will be rezoned for commercial and retail. The land has been appraised for just under $1,000,000.
There’s still no word on what’s going to happen with the Dionne Quint’s Home, which is also on the chamber’s site. Mayor Al McDonald says there’s already been lots of interest for the site which is just off the North Bay bypass.
