Fire station one’s Halloween Night for Kids cancelled again

North Bay Fire and Emergency Services has cancelled their annual Halloween Night for Kids again this year.

It’s due to limits that remain in place for outdoor gatherings amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We continue to put the health and safety of residents first,” said Fire Chief Jason Whiteley. “Ontario remains in Step 3 of the reopening plan, which limits non-seated organized outdoor gatherings at 100 people with physical distancing.”

Whiteley says the annual Halloween Night for Kids is a popular event and has typically attracted far greater numbers than what is currently permitted.
