Seven people are facing various drug trafficking charges after an investigation by city police.
The arrests happened on Oct. 5.
North Bay Police Service says its Street Crime Unit has been conducting surveillance on a residence on Manitou Street, believed to be involved in drug trafficking as part of the investigation.
Shortly after nine on Oct. 5, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the residence. Three of the accused were in the vehicle.
At approximately 11:30 the same night, officers executed a search warrant on the home. The other four accused were subsequentially arrested.
Searches by police resulted in the seizure of:
- Approximately 28 grams of suspected fentanyl
- Approximately 10 grams of suspected cocaine
- Approximately 6 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine
- Approximately $5,000 in cash
- A Hyundai car
- Suspected drug trafficking equipment
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $13,500.
A 41-year-old North Bay man was charged with:

A 36-year-old North Bay woman was charged with:
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- One count of Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
A Young Offender was charged with:
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Once count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- One count of Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Two counts of Fail to Comply with Sentence
An 18-year-old Hamilton man was charged with:
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- One count of Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- One count of Failure to comply with release order
Another 18-year-old from Hamilton was charged with 18 of Hamilton, who is charged with:
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- One count of Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- One count of Failure to comply with undertaking
A 22-year-old woman from Thunder Bay was charged with:
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine

Another 18-year-old from Hamilton was charged with:

The accused are being held pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
