Ontario 511 reports all lanes reopened.

Listeners report detouring around the collision via Four Mile Lake Road. 

 

UPDATE – 12:05 pm:

The North Bay OPP is reporting one person has died after a collision on Highway 63, in the City of North Bay.  

Police, fire and ambulance crews responded just after 10:30 am on Wednesday.  

Highway 63 is closed in both directions.

The OPP says the highway will be shut down for several hours with no detour as the investigation is ongoing.

The OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) and the Office of the Chief Coroner- Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-FPS) are assisting with this investigation.

 

 

There are only a few details so far, but a listener is reporting a collision on Highway 63. 

Ontario 511 confirms the crash has resulted in all lanes of the highway being shut down in both directions, between Lees Road in North Bay, Four Mile Lake Road and Feronia Road. 

Another listener says traffic is being rerouted along Four Mile Lake Road.

The investigation is ongoing.
