Salvation Army kettles set up around the community

The Salvation Army Kettle Campaign is underway.

Major Bonita McGory, Pastor/Corps Officer says kettles are set up around the community with the fundraising goal of $150,000.

She says they’re also looking to raise $100,000 with their mailout campaign.

The Salvation Army North Bay has provided about 1,500 school lunches since September and has fed over 2,500 people so far this year.

They also provide clothing, furniture and household items to those in need along with about 600 Christmas hampers.

All of the money raised stays local.
