A positive case of COVID-19 is being reported in a member of the Alliance Public School community.
That from the Near North District School Board (NNDSB) in a letter to parents last Friday.
“Anyone that has been identified as a high-risk exposure will receive a note with specific instructions to follow and will be contacted by public health,” states the letter. “As per standard protocol, the health unit has dismissed the affected class. At this time, the school will remain open to in-person learning and the health unit has not declared an outbreak.”
The dismissed class began virtual learning on Monday, Nov. 22.
