The North Bay community is making headway on bringing two families of Syrian refugees to the city.
So far over $43,000 has been raised by the fundraising group. Their goal is $50,000. Mayor Al McDonald says they have started the paperwork to bring a family of 13 to North Bay.
The family has kids of all ages from an infant to a teenager. They still have to wait and see if they get approval.
