The North Bay Battalion have cracked the CHL Top 10 rankings.

With 25 points, the Eastern Conference-leading Troops are the number 9 team in Canada this week.

North Bay picked up three wins in three games last week, outscoring their opponents 14-5.

Despite being three points back of the Troops, Mississauga is ranked 8th in Canada.

The Steelheads have played fewer games and have a slightly better winning percentage than the Battalion.

League-leading London is 5th in the top 10 rankings this week.

On the ice, North Bay begins a weekend road swing through Eastern Ontario on Thursday in Peterborough.

They visit Kingston on Friday night and Ottawa on Saturday afternoon.
