Nipissing faculty frustrated over Muskoka campus closure

The Nipissing University Faculty Association feels they should have been consulted before a decision was made to close the school’s Muskoka campus.

Faculty president, Susan Srigley, says the closure will affect significant programming at the university. She says the decision was made by administrators and accountants, and should have been made by experts in academics instead. Nipissing announced they were closing their Bracebridge campus back in June.

Meanwhile, full time faculty are entering their 11th day of strike action. They are fighting for higher wages and job security.
