Former chair tabbed as Cassellholme Board rep for the city

The Cassellholme Board is once again getting a new representative from the City of North Bay.

Councillor Dave Mendicino is the fourth member of council to take on the role this year.

He was voted in at Tuesday night’s council meeting.

This past summer, Deputy Mayor Tanya Vrebosch resigned from the board.

She was replaced by Mayor Al McDonald, who later stepped down.

McDonald was replaced by Councillor Bill Vrebosch, who also resigned from the board.

The city already has two other representatives on the Cassellholme board, including Councillor Chris Mayne, who is chair.

Mayne welcomed Mendicino to the board.

“I know he served as chair for a number of years and we look forward to having him back at the table to support Cassellholme and her residents,” he says.

Councillor Mark King is vice-chair of the Cassellholme Board.
