The Cystic Fibrosis North Bay Chapter is a national award winner.
Last Thursday, they were honoured virtually as Chapter of the Year at the CF Canada national and regional awards.
“This award is presented nationally to a Cystic Fibrosis Canada chapter that demonstrates strength in fundraising, communications, volunteer development and partner support,” states a release.
A total of three awards were won locally, including two individual honours.

The Youth Impact Award winner is 15-year-old Brayden Perron, a student at Algonquin.
Macrina Perron, Regional Advocate and Chapter Co-President received the Volunteer Excellence Award.
