(UPDATE) NBPS identifies potential witnesses

UPDATE: The North Bay Police Service is thanking the public and media for their assistance in identifying the two witnesses to an interaction related to Saturday’s attempted murder investigation. NBPS has been able to contact the witnesses as part of their investigation. They reiterate the witnesses had NO criminal involvement in the incident.

 

The North Bay Police Service is looking to identify two potential witnesses with last Saturday’s attempted murder investigation. 

They say prior to the incident, it’s believed the victim and two accused were involved in an interaction along the 200-block of Main Street East.

Security camera footage obtained by police shows two potential witnesses (pictured below) travelling in the area between approximately 10 am and 10:30 am.

NBPS makes it clear that these potential witnesses had no criminal involvement in this incident. 

Anyone who may be able to identify the witnesses or may have witnessed this incident themselves, or has dash camera or security camera footage of this incident, is asked to contact the investigating officer, Detective Constable Jackson, at the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
