Couple COVID-19 cases involving two North Bay high schools

Two high schools in North Bay are dealing with one COVID-19 case each.

In a couple of letters to parents, the Near North District School Board says there is one active case within the Chippewa school community and another active case in the school community at West Ferris Secondary.

Both schools are open, with a cohort and school sports team dismissed at each of them. 

One bus has also been dismissed at West Ferris.

The dismissed students began virtual learning on Monday.

The holiday break starts Wednesday.
