Three people are facing charges after an alleged break and enter and assault on Friday in North Bay.
The North Bay Police Service says just before 1:30 pm on Friday three people attempted to enter an O’Brien Street residence and assaulted two people with blunt weapons.
The victims were taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Two men, ages 21 and 22, and a youth who can’t be identified are each facing four charges, including two of aggravated assault and one each of break, enter a dwelling with intent to commit indictable offence and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
NBPS says the victims and accused in this incident are known to one another.
The accused are currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
