Post-rally activities lead to charges

Six people who attended a ‘Freedom Rally’ in August then allegedly trespassed at a Lakeshore Drive business are facing charges. 

The North Bay Police Service says the mischief charges were filed after a thorough investigation. 

Police say about 30 rally attendees trespassed and removed property from a business in the 300-block of Lakeshore Drive on Aug. 7.

They were removed by police with about 15 people remaining outside and protesting.

The accused include:
A 65-year old female from East Ferris
A 59-year old male from North Bay
A 61-year old male from Bonfield
A 37-year old male from Trout Creek
A 64-year old female from North Bay
A 48-year old male from North Bay

All six were released on undertaking and have January 25th court appearances.
