The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board has named a new board trustee.
Shelly Warren represents North Bay.
She retired from the board in 2019 and brings over 25 years of experience in the education sector.
The board says Warren has knowledge of special education, curriculum development and has experience as a school administrator and an instructor in the Faculty of Education at Nipissing University.
“We are thrilled to have Shelly Warren as a member of our Board of Trustees,” says Leo de Jourdan, Chair of the Board. “Her experience, qualifications and dedication to education will be of great value to our board as we carry on with the important work of helping all of our students reach their full potential.”
Warren fills a vacancy left by Trustee Linda Jamieson, who passed away last fall.
She begins her term Jan. 25, 2022.
