The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting another COVID-19 death in the region.
It’s the 13th since the start of the pandemic and the tenth in Nipissing.
There’s also a COVID-19 outbreak at the West Nipissing General Hospital.
The outbreak, announced today (Jan. 26), is in the Nursing Care Unit where three patients have tested positive.

The hospital says several measures have been taken to help patients and keep the virus from spreading.
The unit is closed to all visitors and caregivers.
It’s the first COVID-19 outbreak at the hospital since the start of the pandemic.
