The Northern Policy Institute (NPI) is looking for input from residents, businesses and others across the region.
During this inaugural “Measurement Month” a series of surveys are being done in partnership with organizations across the north.
NPI says the focus is on racism, reconciliation and welcoming.
The goal is to collect consistent, comparable data to inform decision-making at the local, regional, provincial and national levels for northern Ontario.
Surveys include employer preparedness, individual experience, service provider capacity, experience with racism and an exit survey for those who have left the region.
Results of the surveys will be generalized in reports published by Northern Policy Institute and other partners.
