Residents can visit the Canadian Forces Museum of Aerospace Defence again

The Canadian Forces Museum of Aerospace Defence at 22 Wing/CFB North Bay is back open.

This after being closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Curator Bethany Aitchison says they’re excited to welcome guests back to the museum, noting they’re open by appointment only for the time being.

Masks will be required, as well as proof of vaccination and valid identification.

Some interactive features of the museum, including the aircraft cockpit, will not be available.

However, there are activity books with new and old favourite games for kids and visitors will also be able to enjoy a temporary exhibit that showcases the talent of some of the Canadian Armed Forces Imagery Technicians.

Details about visiting the museum and other information can be found on their website, www.aerospacedefence.ca.
