The OPP is concerned about the number of drunk drivers in the North Bay area. In the past seven days, six people have been charged with impaired.
One of the incidents resulted in a crash on Highway 11. The 29-year-old driver, from North Bay, was charged with impaired and careless driving. Another incident involved a North Bay man hitting a fully marked police cruiser on Highway 17. He was later charged with driving while impaired by drugs.
Police are reminding people that driving drunk can have huge consequences, including a license suspension, criminal record, insurance rate increase or worse.
