Five senior students from each secondary school in North Bay are being recognized for volunteerism in the community.
The Rotary Club of North Bay recently honoured the students with their Great Student Awards for best exemplifying “Service Above Self”.
This year’s recipients include:
Turner Scarrow – École secondaire publique Odyssée
Fionna Truong – West Ferris Secondary
Madison Moore – Chippewa Secondary,
Grace Couchie – St. Joseph Scollard Hall
Emilie Perron – École secondaire catholique Algonquin
Each student received a certificate, name plaque for their school’s Rotary Plaque and a cheque for $100.
