It’s the unofficial start of the Christmas season.
The Salvation Army Kettle Campaign officially kicks off today. The organization will be collecting change at LCBO outlets, grocery stores and other locations around the community. The money will go towards Christmas hampers, and feeding the hungry around the North Bay area.
This year, the Salvation Army is hoping to raise $650-thousand across the province.
