Mental health training program launched for agricultural community

Registration is now open for a new mental health awareness training program for farmers and the agricultural community.

The Canadian Mental Health Association, North Bay and District, launched the program this past Tuesday, on Canada’s Agriculture Day.

In the Know is a mental health literacy program created specifically for the agricultural community.

Workshops will include real-life examples from agriculture with a variety of topics being covered, including stress, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders and how to start a conversation around mental well-being.
