You’ll still need masks at NBRHC and on city transit buses

Mask mandates may be changing for most settings on Monday, but health care is not one of them.

That’s the message from the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

In a release, the hospital says staff, patients and care partners entering the Health Centre will continue to be screened and wear masks.

“At this time, we have not changed the mandatory vaccination requirement for Care Partners and will continue to require proof of vaccination before entering the hospital,” states the release. “The safety of our patients and our hospital community is, and always has been our number one priority.”

The City of North Bay is also reminding transit users that masks will still be required on North Bay Transit buses until at least April 27.
