The Vest Project fundraiser is off to a successful start.
Co-creators Cindie D’Agostino and Lori Burns started the initiative to support the purchase of non-lethal, protective gear for civilians in Ukraine.
With about $20,000 raised since launching last week, they say they’re overwhelmed by the support so far.
They will be set up at Parker’s Your Independent Grocer from 8 am to 5 pm this Saturday, April 2 collecting donations and creating awareness about the project.
Members of the North Bay Professional Firefighters will also be there.
