Seven teams will be competing at the North Bay Granite Club this weekend for a spot at the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship.
Three of the rinks are entirely local while another one includes curlers from both North Bay and Sudbury.
The winner will represent Northern Ontario at the national event November 6-12 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Other teams competing this weekend are coming from Sudbury, Temiskaming Shores and Thunder Bay.
Round robin play starts Thursday with the final on Sunday afternoon.
