A 26-year-old North Bay man is facing several charges including child sexual assault and distributing drugs to minors.
The North Bay Police Service began their investigation after receiving reports the victim, who is a minor, was sexually assaulted in December 2021 and February 2022.
It’s further alleged marijuana was provided to the victim last fall and cocaine to four other victims, who are minors, in December.
The man was arrested on April 8.
Charges include:
- Two counts of Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 years of age
- Two counts of Sexual Interference
- One count of Distribute cannabis to individual under 18 years of age
- Four counts of Traffick in Schedule I substance – Cocaine
The accused is currently in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
