Pick-up games have already started on the new multi-use courts in the Downtown North Bay and Waterfront area.
The city says unorganized use will continue on a first-come, first-served basis for a bit longer.
Organized play or events will be available once final work on the courts is completed.
A final surface treatment will be applied and lines painted later this spring once the weather warms up.

The courts, which are near the transit terminal, include one full-sized court and one half-sized court and will accommodate basketball, ball hockey and indoor soccer when the lines are painted.
An official opening will take place once the outstanding work is completed.
