More traffic boxes to be wrapped with art locally

If you have an idea for a design for a city traffic box, now is the time to submit it.

The North Bay Public Art Committee is looking for digitally created images, high-quality photographs or scans of original artwork.

Submissions are being accepted until May 11, 2022.

Since launching two years ago, 20 traffic boxes in various locations have been wrapped with the artwork.

The goal is to strengthen the prominence of public art within high pedestrian traffic areas, provide an opportunity to recognize local and regional artists and improve beautification within the city.

Submissions must be in a digital format and will be used to create an image wrap on a traffic control enclosure in the city.
