The city says sidewalk construction on Lakeside Drive is set to resume next week.
The work, which starts Monday, is expected to start at the Birchaven Cove Park end of Lakeside and continue towards Trout Lake Road.
Construction is expected to wrap up by the end of August.
The work includes curb and gutter and road restoration.
One lane of traffic will be open during the construction however, short detours may be needed to complete underground infrastructure at various locations on Lakeside Drive.
The city says that may mean short traffic delays with travellers advised to add extra time to their schedule or temporarily take an alternate route.
Access to the Olmsted Beach parking lot may also be restricted at times as work is taking place there too.
